Located at coordinates 40°13′42″N 74°55′56″W, Newtown is situated just west of the Trenton, New Jersey metropolitan area, making it part of the larger Philadelphia metropolitan area. With a relatively small but dense population—2,268 people as of the 2020 Census—this borough is entirely surrounded by Newtown Township, from which it separated in 1838. Though the borough only spans 0.55 square miles, its State Street serves as a commercial thoroughfare, lined with shops, taverns, and restaurants that add to the area's charm and convenience.

Newtown is not just another dot on the map; it's a town steeped in American history. Founded by William Penn in 1684, it was designed to serve as country homes for Philadelphia residents and to support farming communities. Newtown was even the county seat of Bucks County until 1813.
