Welcome to Hammonton, New Jersey, a town with a rich history, vibrant culture, and a unique title – the "Blueberry Capital of the World." All Pro Gutter Guards is proud to serve as the number one Gutter Guard contractor in Hammonton, committed to preserving the beauty of this exceptional community.
Hammonton's story dates back to 1812 when the first European settlers arrived in the area. Named after John Hammond Coffin, the son of one of the early settlers, William Coffin, the town originally carried the name "Hammondton." Over time, the "d" in Hammondton gradually disappeared, resulting in the name Hammonton.
In 1817, William Coffin opened a glass factory in the region, capitalizing on the flourishing glass industry of South Jersey. This industry, fueled by abundant timber and bog iron, thrived in the area. Products from the glass factory were transported via the Mullica River before the era of railroads, leading to the establishment of trading stores and workers' homes in the vicinity.
The year 1854 marked a significant development for Hammonton with the introduction of the Camden and Atlantic Railroad, which ran to the west of the town. In 1856, developer Charles K. Landis and Philadelphia banker Richard Byrnes played a pivotal role in shifting the town's settlement closer to the railroad. The Hammonton Railroad Station was established in 1858, solidifying the town's connection to the growing transportation network.
Hammonton was formally incorporated as a "Town" by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 5, 1866, marking a new chapter in its history. At the time of incorporation, the town boasted a population of 1,422 residents. A wave of Italian immigration in the late 1800s and early 1900s significantly contributed to the town's growth. Italian-Americans would go on to form a substantial portion of the town's diverse population.
In 1953, the first Hammonton Blueberry Festival was held, celebrating the town's identity as a major blueberry producer. This festival continues to be a beloved annual tradition, attracting visitors from near and far.
Hammonton's geography plays a crucial role in its identity as the "Blueberry Capital of the World." The town is situated in the Atlantic Coastal Plain, characterized by sandy soil, making it an ideal location for blueberry cultivation. Additionally, low-lying marshy areas within the Pine Barrens are used for cranberry farming.
Hammonton is part of the New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve, a protected natural area known for its unique ecology. As one of the municipalities within this reserve, the town enjoys the benefits of its natural beauty and ecological significance.
Hammonton experiences a climate that perfectly complements its agricultural heritage. The town falls within the humid subtropical climate zone, characterized by brisk winters, warm summers, and consistent precipitation throughout the year. This climate is ideal for nurturing blueberry bushes, which thrive in Hammonton's fertile soil.

Guys did a great job RE routing some downspouts to stop water infiltration. Also removed and replaced the leaf guards with upgraded ones. They were very professional and courteous.
When I needed new downspouts for my house, I called All-Pro Seamless Gutter Supply. Their downspout installation was done professionally, and it has greatly improved the drainage around my property. Highly recommended!
