Gutter Experts Serving Lancaster County, PA
Lancaster County covers about 219,000 homes and roughly 558,000 residents, according to Census Bureau estimates, spread across Pennsylvania Dutch Country farmland, river boroughs along the Susquehanna, and the streets around the county seat. That mix means one crew can see a 1920s twin in the city in the morning and a 1990s detached house in a township subdivision in the afternoon. All Pro Gutter Guards works out of Lancaster city and handles guards, seamless gutters, repairs, cleaning and downspouts across the county, with free estimates.
Covering Lancaster County from our West Grant Street office in Lancaster
Our office is at 210 W Grant St #411, Lancaster, PA 17603, in the county seat. OpenStreetMap routing puts a typical run into the surrounding county at roughly 12 minutes and about 5 miles from that address, so we reach the older boroughs along the Susquehanna and the farm townships that carry the county's original names, from Conestoga and Cocalico to Leacock and Drumore. We install our own All Pro micro-mesh gutter guard, form seamless gutters on site, replace and repair gutters, clean them out, and add or resize downspouts. Estimates are free, the phone line is (717) 510-1466, we are open 24/7, and we hold Pennsylvania license PA052821 with 46 reviews on record.
What 111 freezing nights and 21 inches of snow do to Lancaster County gutters
The NOAA station at the Lancaster filtration plant, about 4 km from our office, records roughly 111 nights a year at or below freezing and about 21 inches of snow in a normal season. That cycle of thaw during the day and refreeze after dark is what builds ice dams along eaves and loads the edge of a roof with wet snow. Guards here have to sit tight to the roof plane and carry that weight without sagging, and downspouts have to keep draining as melt comes off. The same station records about 44 inches of precipitation a year, including roughly 11 days with an inch or more of rain, so undersized outlets back up and spill over the front lip during summer storms.
Old farmhouses, city rowhomes and 2000s builds: Lancaster County's split housing stock
Census estimates put the median Lancaster County home at 1978, but the spread matters more than the middle. About 33 percent of housing here was built before 1960 and roughly 20 percent before 1940, which covers the stone and brick homes in the older townships and boroughs. On those houses we often find tired fascia, sectional runs with leaking joints, and half-round profiles that need careful handling before any guard goes on. At the other end, about 21 percent of homes date from 2000 or later, and builder-grade gutters on those are frequently too small for an inch-plus rainfall. With 55 percent of units single-family detached and 70 percent owner occupied, most calls come from owners planning a long-term fix.

Lancaster County Gutter Questions
Do you cover the whole of Lancaster County, or just the city?
We cover the county from our Lancaster city office on West Grant Street. That includes the river boroughs such as Columbia, the villages and townships south toward Drumore and Peach Bottom, and the farm areas east through Leacock and Salisbury. OpenStreetMap routing shows a typical trip out of the office at roughly 12 minutes and about 5 miles. Call (717) 510-1466 for a free estimate.
Will gutter guards handle Lancaster County winters?
The NOAA station near our office records about 21 inches of snow a year and roughly 111 freezing nights, so ice dams and snow load are real considerations. Our All Pro micro-mesh guard is installed to sit firmly against the roof edge so it carries snow rather than bending under it, and we check that downspouts stay clear so meltwater has somewhere to go.
My house in Lancaster County was built before 1940. Can guards still be fitted?
Usually yes, but the gutter and the wood behind it come first. Census figures show about 20 percent of county homes predate 1940, and on those we often find soft fascia, leaking sectional joints or half-round gutters. We inspect, repair or replace what is needed, clean the runs out, then fit the micro-mesh guard so it is supported properly.

Trevor Barrett
After inquiring about a gutter cleaning, they sent a tech out to get an estimate of the job. Can't recall his name as he didn't even introduce himself, and was very blunt & impersonal. Quoted $850 for a simple cleaning.. its a very standard size row home. Had it cleaned by another local company for $180. I cannot speak to the quality of their work - I'm sure they do a good job, but I cannot help but feel an attempt was made to take advantage. Very surprising & disappointing as they have such good reviews.

Our gutters were full of pine needles, and All Pro Gutters Guards handled it like pros. They got every bit cleaned out, tested the flow, and made sure everything drained properly. Super thorough service!

My husband and I Love This Gutter System. The 2 installers were on time and Very efficient working in tandem. Fun to talk with and lighthearted. I have rain barrels, and the gentlemen were so helpful in making adjustments for me when I have to tear down the barrels for winter weather and put the length of downspout back on again. 5โ Gutters with Titanium rain leaf guard system has lifetime warranty also transferable to next owner. Picture is the Titanium Leaf guard.
